Half Dome, 1985.

I took this photo somewhere above Royal Arches, from atop a massive boulder in the middle of manzanita hell. How I got there, I don't want to say. How I got out of there, I'd prefer to forget. John Muir would go on at lenght about his crazy adventures in Yosemite; not I. But I came out of it with this shot of Half Dome peeking out above the granite slabs. It was not all bad.
