Lenticular Clouds Over Hidden Valley, Joshua Tree, 1985.
Joshua Tree is known for its sunny high-desert climbing, but early season visitors can expect a few storms to roll through, bringing wind, rain, even snow. This one brough wind, and these massive lenticular clouds. The wind made climbing
tenuous at best, as huge gusts threatened to blow us off the rock at any moment.
