Nicola Masciandaro leading an unnamed slab pitch (5.7) on Little Bridge Creek Buttress, Icicle Creek Canyon, Washington. This shot was taken from the big ledge off to the left of the top of the route. I had soloed ahead of Nicola to get into position. The rope was unnecessary, as the crux is one move and the only piece of protection was a wired nut in a slot fifty feet off the ground, but it added context to the photograph.
