I quit my job because they wouldn't give me a week off to go on a spontaneous trip to Yosemite with Mike Mirande and Greg Olson. After three days in the Valley, we headed up to Tuolumne Meadows. This edgy 5.10c face route up a glacier-polished slab on Daff Dome was a great introduction to the Meadows.
