Mount Garibaldi
|
Mount Garibaldi is the most prominent of British Columbia's volcanoes. At 8,787 feet elevation, it is not the highest, but because it stands apart it is more visible and better known. Although not technically
a "Cascade" volcano because it is north of the Fraser River, the traditional dividing line between the Cascade and Coast Ranges, it is very much a part of the same chain of high volcanoes that make up the Cascade volcanoes.
